The trademark ‘COMBIFLAM’ , which had been applied for registration in 1984, was granted registration on 28.02.1989, and the plaintiff has been using the mark continuously since then. Since the successful registration of the mark ‘ COMBIFLAM ’, the plaintiff has applied and got registered various other marks like

Justice Jayant Nath of the Delhi High Court granted an interim injunction to the plaintiff and restrained the defendants from using the ‘CONCIFLAM’ or ‘CORIFLAM’ mark, similar to the plaintiff’s registered trademark, until further orders.
