Though there has been no official information from OnePlus regarding the launch, but filing of trademark application for registration of the wordmark ‘OnePlus Pay’ under Class 9, dated 30th March, 2021 suggests the launch of the digital payment service in India sooner or later this year. The application is currently ‘marked for exam’. This indicates that OnePlus will soon join the vast list of digital mobile payments services like GooglePay, Paytm, PhonePe, and more in the country.
