Ludhiana gets its first IP Rights Facilitation Centre

The Central government has endorsed an Intellectual Property Rights Facilitation Centre (IPRFC) for Ludhiana. This facilitation Centre has been established with the aim to spread knowledge and awareness about intellectual property rights among business people, particularly those associated with micro, small and medium Enterprises (MSME). The government has basically established the Centre for facilitating the local body of Auto Parts’ Manufacturers’ Association (APMA).

Besides facilitating for the local auto body business, this Centre will also focus on educating the business persons about the intellectual property rights. This facilitation Centre will also provide services related to registration of any creative work of these auto business industry under relevant Intellectual property. The president of APMA, GS Kahlon thanked government for sanctioning first ever Intellectual Property Rights Facilitation Centre of the state.
