By Tanushka Joshi
WWE has filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to trademark the ring name “Kushida”. Yujiro Kushida, a Japanese professional wrestler and mixed martial artist who is part of NXT is currently using “Kushida” for “entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer”. This is usually the usage description used when the WWE or any other wrestling promotion is attempting to trademark a ring name or performer nickname.
