American Software Company files patent infringement suit against LG Electronics

A mobile software solution company Seven Networks based in Marshall, Texas filed a patent infringement suit against LG Electronics, in the Eastern District Court of Texas. In the suit filed, Seven Networks have claimed that LG Electronics have infringed a total of eight patents of them related to mobile services and network optimization technology. They further stated that the G-Series, Q-Series, K-Series, V-series smartphones and the G-pad tablets sold by LG Electronics violated Seven Network’s patent registered with the U.S Patent and Trademark Office.

They have claimed compensation by way of damages and cost of settlement charges. Seven Networks have previously initiated patent infringement suits against companies like Apple, Samsung, Google as well.
