Indian Performing Right Society (IPRS) launches online music campaign to celebrate World IP Day

India’s only registered copyright society under the Copyright Act, IPRS which is a representative body of authors, composers, lyricists, and owner publishers of music is launching an online campaign on ‘IPRS for fair music’ to boost a healthy ecosystem for music in India. It is aiming to support, celebrate and acknowledge businesses that are looking to create an equal trade system through respect and transparency by collaborating with music creators all across India.

The CEO of IPRS, Mr. Rakesh Nigam said they are glad to host this session in association with Music Plus and collectively talk about the importance of Copyright in India.

The activities included in this campaign are panel discussions, virtual knowledge session for creators and music right holders, licensing and fair-pay music sessions, felicitation of fair music partners and much more which will take place from 26thApril till 30th April, 2021.
